Frequently Asked Questions

    • Request out-of-network reimbursement: After paying for the appointment you can request reimbursement from your insurance provider. Insurance will reimburse you for the maximum allowable amount for that service. Please note that you might have an annual deductible that must be spent on out-of-pocket healthcare before insurance will reimburse for the cost of your appointment.

    • Network Gap Exception: Insurance companies may grant a network gap exception if they do not provide you with the type of care you are requesting (for example, child trauma therapy) within a specific time frame. You can request a network gap exception from your insurance company. 

    • Superbills can be provided for client services to support out-of-network reimbursement.

    • I respect client confidentiality and as this relates to treating clients under 18, I will not share information unless topics of risk are important to address for the youth’s safety. If possible, I will address any changes in confidentiality with the client first before involving a caregiver.

    • I have also found that family therapy and parent coaching can be effective approaches to collaborating and working towards change in treatment.

    • At this time Therapy with Audrey is telehealth appointments only.
